Medico-legal

Jonathan has been preparing reports for the Court since 2013 with over 1,000 prepared to date - these have been a mixture of personal injury, noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and clinical negligence cases. He has received training in the preparation of medico-legal reports and is fully compliant with CPR rules; having recently undertaken Bond Solon training on the CPR Part 35 rules.

Jonathan is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office - ref: Z3303446

Jonathan has prepared reports for claimants (70%), defendants (10%) and joint instructions (20%) and he has Courtroom experience.

Jonathan appreciates the requirements of solicitors, in particular the timescales for civil litigation. He is flexible and responsive and has had good feedback from solicitors and counsel:

"Thank you for this excellent report, which is very helpful."

"Mr Hobson is an excellent expert witness, very approachable and someone who I would thoroughly recommend."

"His reports are always of a very high quality and we find that we can rely on the opinions he gives. Jonathan is always willing to discuss any tricky medico- legal issues and provides useful advice when asked. Any barristers that have seen his reports have been complimentry about the standard of report."

"Jonathan is a wonderfully straightforward ENT medico-legal expert witness who has a natural flair for simplifying very complex medical issues to aid in lay comprehension. In circa three years of having worked with Jonathan I can honestly say I have never had an issue with the quality of his work nor deadlines! If you need an ENT medico-legal expert witness please instruct Jonathan, you will not be disappointed."
